Up Cycling
A comprehensive team-building session that incorporates all the key elements in fostering and encouraging — communication, collaboration, problem-solving, connecting, decision-making, creativity, innovation, brainstorming, leveraging diverse skills, personalities and discovering hidden strengths and perspectives within your team. The lab experience starts with icebreakers to form small teams, followed by a balance of facilitated discussion, and activity to work on these keys areas of team development.
- Each team will receive a mystery box filled with an assortment of random materials. These could be anything from office supplies and craft items to household objects or unconventional bits and pieces. Included is what the product should be, but no pictures included.
- This mission is to work together to design a brand-new product with a unique purpose.
- At the end of the activity, each team will pitch their product to the group. Share your product’s name, its purpose.
